October 28 @ 10:30 am – 2:30 pm PDT

Join your CMG brothers for a healthy hike around Point Pinole Regional Shoreline and enjoy walking in an area of natural wildlife, beautiful views, and scenic tranquility as the season changes. This is really a wonderful place for a relaxing hike!
We will be meeting at the north end of the parking lot near the booth at 10:30 am and the hike will begin promptly at 11:00 am.
We will be walking on an easy loop to the pier and back. At some point, we’ll break for a picnic lunch, so be sure to bring something to eat.
WHAT TO BRING: Lunch, including a drink; comfortable shoes; plenty of water and sun protection (sunscreen, sunglasses and hat). Also, dress for most conditions; layers is always smart.
EVENT CHAMPION: Charlie Malarkey (malarkeyus@yahoo.com). Please RSVP so I know you’re coming.
Date & Time: Saturday, October 28th @ 10:30 am to about 2:30 or 3:00 pm.
Location: Meet at 10:30 am near the booth at the north end of the parking lot (Giant Entrance). The hike will begin promptly at 11:00 am. In case of rain, I will still be there and we can make a decision.
Cost: A $3 fee for parking is collected when the booth is attended. Also, a $2 fee for a dog is collected when the booth is attended.
Getting There: From 80, exit at Richmond Parkway; make a right onto Atlas Rd., and a left onto Giant Hwy. Look for the turnoff for Point Pinole. I can pick up men at the El Cerrito del Norte BART station at 10:00 am, but you have to let me know if you need a ride.
