A Hike along Ocean Beach and Land’s End, San Francisco

Join your CMG brothers on a healthy hike as we enjoy fellowship and the scenic beauty of the city – San Francisco. We will meet at Lincoln Way and the Great Highway at 11:00 am. We will walk along Ocean Beach to start, passing by the Cliff House and the Sutro Baths and go just below the USS San Francisco Memorial by way of the Land’s End Trail, 1.6 miles (40 minutes) We will then continue along the Land’s End/Coastal Trail to Land’s End Trail and Camino del Mar, 1 mile (25 minutes). Then we will go along Camino del Mar to the Legion of Honor, 0.6 miles (20 minutes). Next, we will go from the Legion of Honor to the Cliff House, 1.25 miles (30 minutes). Finally, we will go from the Cliff House to Lincoln Way and the Great Highway, 1.1 miles (25 minutes). No pets except service dogs. The hike is flat most of the way, with some moderate uphill and downhill parts. The hike will take about 2.5 hours.

WHAT TO BRING: Snacks; comfortable shoes; plenty of water and sun protection (sunscreen, sunglasses and hat). Also, dress for most conditions; layers is always smart. Please leave dogs (except service dogs) at home.
