Cost: We have reserved one modular cabin and three tent cabins at Keough Hot Spring. See below for prices. Food and drinks, including water, will be the responsibility of each attendee.

San Francisco Opera in Golden Gate Park

Location: Meet at 12:30 p.m. in front of the entrance to the Whole Foods Market at Haight and Stanyan Streets.

Getting there: Concert attendees are urged to make use of public transportation. There are many public transit options (MUNI) including the N Streetcar and 7, 33, 37, 43 and 66 buses.

Join your CMG brothers for a picnic in Golden Gate Park to listen to the sounds of San Francisco Opera.

We’re talking about arias al fresco to celebrate the opening of San Francisco Opera’s 97th season. Featuring the acclaimed San Francisco Opera Orchestra and stars from the fall season.

We will be meeting in front of Whole Foods at Haight and Stanyan at 12:30 p.m. in order to buy food and beverages and find a good spot. As you can see from the photo below, these concerts draw a large crowd. Food and beverages will also be available for sale at the event.

WHAT TO BRING: Picnic lunch; comfortable shoes; plenty of water and sun protection (sunscreen, sunglasses, and hat) and a blanket or towel to rest on. I think dogs are OK, but they would need to be well-behaved and comfortable around lots of people.

Pre-Gathering Fundraiser Pool Party

Parking: There should be plenty of street parking. The CMG encourages carpooling. If you plan to drink, please do so responsibly. Consider using a designated driver, BART/bus, Uber, bike, walking.

Alcohol will be served. 21 & older only!

Pre-Gathering Fundraiser POOL PARTY in Concord

The Planners of the Summer CMG and the Bay Area Events Committee cordially invite you to a Pre-CMG Fundraiser Pool Party in Concord. Join your CMG brothers and others for a delicious luncheon, fun in the sun in and around the pool and camaraderie! This is a clothing-optional event!

NOTE: A swimsuit is NOT required.

We didn’t get enough volunteers this year for our annual major fundraising activity at SF Pride, so this event will help provide financial assistance and other funds for our Labor Day weekend gathering. You can attend this event whether or not you plan to attend the Summer CMG (and can also donate toward the fund without attending!)

There is no need to bring anything except yourself, a towel, sun protection, etc. Come As You Are. An afternoon of tasty Mexican food (including vegetarian options), tequila, wine, beer, non-alcoholic beverages, and dessert are included.

John Thomas is once again our fantastic host. His garden includes classic Greek and Roman statuary, a mini sand beach and tented pavilions by the pool and jacuzzi. The afternoon should have everything: sun, fun, food, water, and wonderful camaraderie if you are with us.

Price:  $25.00

Come jump into summer at our Pool Party / Pot Luck, Saturday, August 17, 2019

POOL PARTY: The pool party is clothing optional, swimsuits or not, up to you. We will start at 2:00 p.m. for pool time until around 5:30 p.m. or 6:00 p.m. and then we will have dinner. Bring your own towels and drinks.

POT LUCK: Bring food to share for 6 – 8 people. Refrigeration is limited, so a cooler might help if you need to keep things cold. Bring your own DRINKS. Beer and Alcohol are OK for this event.

Pool Party Potluck – San Diego

Date/Time: Saturday Aug 10, 2019,  12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Location: Private home in Clairemont Mesa

The address and other related info will be given after you RSVP.
This event has a maximum capacity of 50, so RSVP to get in!
Parking: On the street. Be prepared to walk a block or so.
Event Cost: $8 plus your potluck item. No one will be turned away for a lack of funds if you cannot pay all or even any of the donation.

Note: As this event is permitting alcohol,  21 and over only, please – be prepared to show ID.

Pool Party Potluck – San Diego

Take a quick ride out to Clairemont Mesa with us and come play in/hang by the pool with us, making new friends and hanging with old ones.  All friendly, open, attitude-free men ages 21-99+ are welcome!  The hot tub will be open in addition to the pool.

Good food, good men, good fun, and hopefully, good weather as this lovely summer continues. A special welcome to newcomers we met at San Diego Pride!
