Get Involved – Help Bring the Magic to CMG Spring 2026!
There are beloved elements of CMG Gatherings that only happen when attendees step up and say,
“I can do (or bring) that!” — even if it’s your first time. If something here sparks your interest, we’d love to hear from you! Some jobs are before the weekend; some are at-camp tasks; some are just bringing things. We may or may not still be in need, but do ask!
To help, please email SpringInfo@theCMG.org with the subject line formatted like this (just replace with your name and area of interest):
Subject: CMG Spring 2026 Volunteer Task – John Smith – Leading Heart Circle
Here’s some of the things/efforts we are often looking for:
______________________________________________________________
DRAG & COSTUMES
Some years the drag closet overflows, other years it’s missed dearly. If you have costumes or fun wearables (especially for the pool party’s iconic pageant), bring them along—or just show up in something fabulous!
DECOR
Help us make the conference space feel like our own. Whether it’s fabric, natural accents (remember John-boy’s palm fronds?), or creative touches, we’d love help setting the mood.
THE “PLAY SPACE”
The fun is elevated with a little ambiance. Think lighting, music, leather, posters… if you’ve got it in your dungeon or nightstand, we want to borrow it.
FIRE CHIEF
Help us keep things HOT! We need someone to keep the conference fireplace going nightly (no gear required—but feel free to dress the part!). There’s also potential for a bonfire. We’ll bring the s’mores if you bring the fire.
HEART CIRCLES & PUPPY PILES
Have experience leading these? Or ready to take your first step? We’d love your energy and presence.
MORNING STRETCH
A yoga teacher would be divine, but simple stretching is great, too. Help guide the group into a gentle morning start. Could be in the conference center or maybe an outdoor morning communing with nature!
DJ
Yes, there’s a dance. Yes, we need a DJ. That could be you!
RIDESHARE COORDINATOR
Help men find carpools and start connecting before the weekend even begins. You’ll get lists and make the matches—simple and impactful.
CONFERENCE ROOM SET-UP
Chairs don’t set themselves (we asked). Help form circles and arcs so our sessions can shine.
PARKING LOT GREETERS
A warm welcome goes a long way. Dress up or just bring a smile and hug—your presence sets the tone from the first moment.
MEAL GREETERS
Be the smiling face welcoming everyone to lunch or dinner. Bonus points for hugs and energy!
BRING SUPPLIES FROM L.A.
Got trunk space? We need help transporting items, especially pieces of our modular stage. No stage = no variety show!
MASSAGE TABLES
Have one to lend? We need about six for the massage room. No need to do more—just bring it along. Occasionally, we’ll find a man with a table but who has no room to bring it and another with a big car but no table. Offer either and we’ll try to match you!
MOCKTAIL PARTY
Think bartenders, a tray of “whore d’oeuvres,” butlers, maids—get creative and classy (or trashy, your call)!
GOT YOUR OWN IDEA?
Want to contribute something totally different? Tell us! We won’t know unless you share it.
