Pathfinder Ranch Lodging

There are limited upgrades available, with three options as described below, while they last. The bunkhouses and meeting spaces at Pathfinder Ranch are all in one big circle, so the locations of the SP rooms are still convenient in terms of access.

NOTE:  Housing upgrades are handled during your registration; do not click anything on this page  (like a “Donate” button) expecting that will affect your registration.

Semi-Private Rooms – Three Options

Option 1 – Semi-Private Twin Bunk:  We have access to 12-16 twin beds in smaller, semi-private rooms (SP) that can be purchased. SP rooms share the common bathrooms of their building; they do not have a private bathroom.  Each room has two bunk-beds where, most commonly, only the bottom bunks are used.  These beds are an extra $150 per man.  No linens are provided.

Note that you can have someone sleep in your upper bunk(s) if your roommate agrees.  If you do this, let us know*, as it helps us with LOWER bunks elsewhere. The men using your upper bunks would pay the All-Inclusive price, not the upgrade price.   Also note that the SP doors do not lock.

At this time, we will not be allowing one man to book a room solely to himself for the full room cost. If that is something you would be interested in, list that as a special need and, on the off-chance that the SP rooms do not sell out, we will contact you.

Option 2: Excalibur:  For a few men who really want to treat themselves, the special little Excalibur cabin (Cabin E) has just two rooms with a Living Room and Kitchen between them. The Living Room may be used as Workshop Space and the Kitchen is often used by the committee for whatever purposes they need it for. Excalibur renters get a semi-private bathroom/shower, plus pillows, towels, linens, and blankets.  Within Excalibur:

Room 1 has two twin beds (not bunks) which go for an extra $200 per man.  You are just buying one of them with your registration and the other one goes to a man who ALSO registered quickly enough to snag one. You do NOT get to choose your roommate. It is just the other man that purchased the 2nd twin bed (or the 1st one if you were 2nd).

Room 2 has two queen beds, so 4 men WILL be sleeping in those two beds.  One man for each bed in that room will pay an extra $250 and we REQUIRE that there be TWO men in each bed, so either indicate a bedmate of YOUR choice or we will assign one.  The bedmates will pay the All-Inclusive rate and we won’t be counting them in our “lower bunk” totals. You may split the cost of the bed with them any way you want to and they just pay you back for whatever part of the upgrade that you settle on.

Option 3 – VIP room in Cabin I:  For the man who wants a solo experience, there is one spot in what’s called the VIP room.  It has a double (not queen) bed, a small living room space, and private bathroom. Linens are provided.  The door has a combination lock for your privacy.

That room is $300 extra to buy the only bed in that little suite.  You CAN share the bed. You indicate WHO will be the ongoing bedmate* and that man would pay the All-Inclusive rate.

=============================================================

If you know who your intended roommate is for option 1 or the queen beds in option 2, there is a place for you each to list this during online registration. Please note, though, that the upgraded rooms almost always sell out and we cannot hold the second bed for your friend/partner if the slots all sell out before he registers. Thus, we recommend you sign up on the same day and you must BOTH request each other as a roommate.

==============================================================

*Why is it important that you let us know if you’re using the extra beds in your room for another man? Because his being in that room with you opens up another bed in camp…and that could make a difference to us if we think we are sold out to be able to include one more man.
