Annual Members Meeting

The Annual Members Meeting (AMM) for 2020 will be in Sacramento starting the evening of Friday, January 17, 2020, and through Sunday, January 19, 2020.

Any and all men who have an interest are encouraged to attend the daily work sessions and contribute to the conversation.

If you are signed up to receive our email blasts, you will be notified on how to register and participate. For context, it helps if you have participated in at least one gathering. An AMM is not recommended as a first event for men who have never been to a local event or gathering only because it is more about establishing practices & policies than it is about connecting men at the heart.

We reserve the right to radically change the traditional schedule, but there will likely be a Welcome Dinner on Friday evening, followed by the core meeting sessions Saturday and Sunday. A light breakfast and lunch are normally provided during the meeting wherever the meeting is held.

Saturday evening, everyone is set free for dinner and checking out the town. Many of us dine together and do a little exploring, based on the recommendations of local CMG brothers.

Normally on Sunday, we hold a board meeting in which CMG elects all four officers each year for a one-year term. All other appointed positions on the Board of Directors (e.g., Web Guy, Registrar, Archivist, Marketing & Outreach Directors, etc.) are considered at this meeting and positions are filled for the year. If you are interested in filling a board position, plan to attend the meeting, especially on Sunday, and stand for (self-nominate) the position for which you would like to be responsible, or send a note to the president@thecmg.org.

Your participation and engagement in creating positive change ensure that CMG continues to be a vibrant, relevant organization well into the future.

To become a voting member at an AMM, you need to have volunteered 25+ hours in a recognizable CMG capacity over the past three years, and pay the annual membership of $1.00 cash, paid at the meeting.

We look forward to creating the future of CMG with you in January 2020!
