Due to difficulties of staging a Fall gathering
the event has been canceled.
The next opportunity for the 101st California Men’s Gathering is Memorial Day 2022.
The community gathering content planned for the Summer Gathering theme of Love, Vulnerability & Healing will be presented by John Torres on October 23rd from 10am-4pm. Register Today!
Man’s existence, our relationships, the potential we realize, and the joy and fulfillment of life’s experiences are all the result of Love. When life, relationships, and experiences don’t live up to our expectations, it is common to become guarded, closed off and vigilant to protect what we have. In this state of fear, our potential is limited. When and how do we let down our guard and open ourselves up to the healing that love offers. When we are comfortable with vulnerability, especially in relation to each other, love provides the healing we all seek. It is with this healing love that we can remove the limits we have placed on our own potential.
Safety is an illusion. Everyone wants safety. Everyone wants to be in a culture of heart-centered folks where they feel “safe.” What is it that heart-centered folks share in common? What is it that assists in cultivating love? Heart-centered folks embrace vulnerability. Heart-centered folks embrace imagination. If you are tired of the “same old thing” getting in the way of your imagination. If you feel uncertain, confused, and distracted by current events, we welcome you to the CMG 101st Gathering. Come and be challenged to tell your story. Listen to the stories of others who have survived and thrived in similar circumstances. Come to this playful pause and take away an experience of healing.
In preparation for this event, please bring a token of an intention of love, vulnerability, and healing to share. Some options may be a picture, a stone, a feather, a piece of leather, a ring, a sea shell, a hat, tie or dress, a past CMG Program Guide, etc.
