Better Relationship Tools = Better Relationships!
Have you ever desired to have a better understanding and clearer communication with your partner, or learn how to navigate a more complex polygamous relationship or create an intentional community in your home or workspace but lacked the tools to bridge generational, racial and power differences!?
This six-part workshop at Plummer Park will provide you with the tools necessary to create a more fulfilling relationship with your partner, help balance power in polygamous relationships as well as educate and protect people participating in an intentional community so they can better achieve their goals.
We will share radical communication tools and structures with you then work closely within smaller groups to practice these new tools. This is a unique opportunity to learn more about how we choose to interact with others and how they choose to interact with us. Ultimately these new tools are aimed at helping us learn more about ourselves and those we choose to be in relationships with as well as to protect those within that relationship, whether it be two people or two dozen.
Evan Hughes, facilitator: Evan has been a member of CMG for years and met his teacher Bond Wright during a workshop she presented at the 2014 Spring Gathering. The communication tools he has learned from her have helped him create intentional communities in his home and within his business partnerships over the last several years. These tools have been life-changing for him and he is eager to share them with the CMG and LGBTQ communities.
Bond Wright, guest presenter: Our guest presenter has been a practicing therapist for 30+ years. She has presented at the Spring Gathering in Malibu for about 20 years off and on. She has also been teaching transactional communication tools for many years, arbitrating disputes and teaching better communication skills to many intentional communities.
